Distraction-Free Schools Colorado is a growing bipartisan coalition of parents, educators and medical professionals united in calling for legislative action and policy changes to address the negative consequences of smartphones, social media, and unregulated technology products in Colorado schools.

The Model Legislation
The Distraction-Free Schools Legislation Package includes four state model bills that together set a gold standard for prioritizing students' mental health, academic achievement and social development. The package aims to protect students, empower educators, and ensure every classroom digital or traditional tool serves a single purpose: helping students learn safely and effectively.

2. Next, click here to download and modify a copy of this advocacy letter to send to your legislators.
3. Copy and paste the modified letter into the body of an email calling for legislative action and send it to your legislators.
